Welcome to my official website!

It's intended for personal and business use.  I'm not a subscriber to any social media, so my goal is to use this website as a way to keep in touch with my friends and family abroad, as well as a place to showcase my costume work.

It's my way of sharing my two basic loves....travel and costumes.  It's been hard to consolidate everything I love into just a few pictures and words, but I hope you get a taste of my journeys up to now.

In "explorations," you'll find a sampling of pictures from my hike across the Swiss Alps, as well as my volounteer work in Africa.

Costume wise, there's a sampling of theatre, tv/film, Cirque and my personal costumes.  One thing to know, I don't keep the photos I take with or of celebrities I work with.  The photos I take are for work and I respect the privacy of the talent I have the honor to work with. I'm sure they don't have pictures of me on their websites.....so, the best way to see my resume of costuming in film/tv is to go to my imdb page.

As far as work in the theatre, it's a true labor of love for me.  It's what I trained to do in college.  I love the process....researching, sketching, swatching, and collaborating so closely with the other designers.  There's just a sampling of my work from Orlando and a little in NYC.

However, my focus now is on ricRACK and the Royal Costume Academy, both in New Orleans.

ricRACK is a project I started that will teach children costuming skills by repurposing donated costumes, while the RCA will bring costume masters to New Orleans to teach through a series of workshops.  Please see my "dreams" page.

In the words of George Bernard Shaw....

"This is the true joy in life-being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one-being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy-I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die. For the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It's a sort of splendid torch which I've got to hold up for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations"
